Order Details
You can order a commissioned work from me by following the easy steps below. Please note the Terms & Conditions for further details on; Copyright, Deposits, Shipping, etc.
- 1. Select & Submit a Photo/Reference
This is the first and most important step. A well focused, lit, head & shoulders photo of the subject is needed to capture as good a likeness as possible. Please email photos to info@megancolferartist.com and I can let you know if they are suitable for reference.
- 2. Fill in your Request via the Contact Form
To request a commission, please use the Contact Form on this page and I will reply within a day so we may discuss finer details such as size (A4/A3) and medium (Graphite/Oil).
- 3. Commission Timeframes
Commissions may take two weeks for Graphite, and upwards of a month for an oil. This can change however depending on circumstances, but if you require the work by a particular date please let me know in your initial request and I will endeavour to complete it by then.
- 4. Paying a Deposit
After agreeing to details and booking your commission, you will be sent a 30% deposit payment link. This is non-refundable but secures that your commission will be completed by the target date. Please note the Terms & Conditions for further details.
- 5. Commission Timeline
Only when the 30% deposit has been received will I begin on your commission. Once the work is finished, you will receive a photo for consideration and to see if there are any alterations that might be needed. When you are happy with the result, you will receive a payment link with the remaining balance.
- 6. Delivery of Commission
Commissions are delivered by one of two different couriers depending on the size & medium of the work.
Graphite Commissions – AnPost Delivery, both Postal Tube & Board Back Envelopes available
Oil Commissions – UPS Door-to-Door Delivery
All commissions are packaged with the utmost care for safe delivery.
